Technical Assistance Partnership are here to help with European Funding across the Humber, York and North Yorkshire

On Friday 15th February 2019 an event was held at The Park Inn York to showcase ESIF funded projects, share best practice and celebrate the positive impact ESIF funding is having across our region within businesses and local communities.

The event heard Colin Mellors, ESIF committee Chair and YNYER LEP Board Member
“EU funding has been put to excellent use in our region over the years.  It has led to tremendous outcomes with direct and very positive impacts for local towns and communities.  It is important that whatever replaces this funding stream learns from what has gone before and achieves similar local impact.”
He continued,
“TAP helps organisations prepare persuasive bids and deliver successful projects.   Its right to celebrate the achievements of all concerned and, not least, thank those on the ground who have made it all happen and, in so doing, have changed communities and lives for the better.”
Our thanks to:

Colin Mellors – YNYER ESIF Committee Chair
Lisa Wilson – Hambleton District Council
Pauline Mitchell – University of Hull
Gary Fawcett – Skills Forge
Rob Warner – East Riding of Yorkshire Council
Kevin Curran, Lizzy & Ally – Inspired Youth
Andrew Osivwemu – MHCLG
James Farrar – YNYER LEP

James Farrar, Chief Executive of the York North Yorkshire and East Riding Partnership in closing the event said

“These projects are the reason why we get out of bed every day. We may have to navigate bureaucracy, but in doing so these investments and programmes change the lives of real people, transform real places and grow real businesses, with benefits for all.”
